About Us
At My Sister Sunday, we believe in the power of sisterhood. We are more than a community—
we are a movement dedicated to fostering unity, support, and empowerment among women.
Our mission is to create a safe and nurturing space where women can connect,
uplift one another and share their journeys without judgment.

Our Story
Founded by Tamika Edwards in memory of her mother, Cynthia Edwards, My Sister Sunday was created to provide women with the
support, encouragement, and community that every woman deserves. Inspired by her mother’s life, Tamika envisioned a space
where women could find strength in one another and know they are never alone.

Our Purpose
Too often, women face life’s challenges in isolation. My Sister Sunday exists to change that.
Whether through open dialogue, shared experiences, or acts of kindness,
we are committed to ensuring that every woman feels valued, heard, and supported.
What We Do

• Connection & Support: We provide a space for women to build authentic relationships and encourage one another.
• Empowerment & Growth: Through meaningful discussions and shared experiences, we inspire personal and collective growth.
• Financial Assistance: When resources allow, we offer support to women in need because we believe no sister should struggle alone.
